This new edition starts March 11 and runs March 11, 18, and 25 on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm.  Just 3 classes will get your puppies (OLDER DOGS ALSO WELCOME) off to a great start and ready for level 2 (huge focus on leash walking) and level 3 (public outings and stranger socialization).  Come learn skills from our trainers in a super fun and positive environment.  Learn markers and corrections as well. The foundation of great training for you and for your pup starts here! 

This class includes a full 1 hour lesson and recap each week plus some limited puppy socialization at the end of class (optional).  Come early to acclimate!  We encourage it! We will be there at 530pm each week for early arrivals.

Level 2 will start after this class ends for those who want to keep training going! You get a great discount on level 2 just for taking our Puppy 101 class! 

3 weeks of place training and socialization and a few basic training skills for pups 16 weeks to up to 5 years old. Meet other dogs and gain social skills all for just $75. Plus learn a few commands that are essential to future skills for your dog.  (Consecutive classes available if you wish to keep going!)

Classes will be held at Doodlekins Barkery at 121 S Main St Morton IL.  Some classes may be outside for a period of class if weather permits.  Please bring your dog on a non-retractable leash (4 or 6 FOOT recommended) attached to a collar (not harness) and bring some treats that your dog will really want to work for.  We encourage you to not feed your pup dinner before our training classes as they will get many treat rewards during class time!

What will my pup do at a puppy party?  Learn how to meet other dogs gracefully and without reactivity, general socialization skills with other puppies, staying stationary on a place cot, tips on leash walking and going to "place"cots, sit, down, and wait.  Learn the foundation of good training that goes beyond sit, stay and speak! 

Puppies must have had 2 Bordetella shots and core shots plus rabies and be at least 16 weeks old to join our puppy class.  They can be up to any age as long as they need base level training for "going to place" .  It turns out, you can teach on old dog new tricks! 

Over-reactive or violent dogs may be asked to leave puppy party if they cannot maintain non-threatening behaviors.  We have a recommended trainer that can help with special  cases if we see that as a better fit.  All breeds are welcome. 

NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELED OR MISSED CLASSES. You may arrive at 530 to find out what you missed the week before if you had to be absent from a class.
